Admission Open 2026

Health science for the decade ahead

Genomics, regenerative medicine, precision nutrition, molecular diagnostics and clinical embryology. ITHS teaches the specialisations most Indian colleges have not added to their syllabus yet, from B.Sc. through to Ph.D.

No entrance exam

Direct admission after 12th with PCB. NEET is not required.

University campuses

Taught inside partner university labs, hostels and libraries.

Research from year one

Faculty with active patents and published work guide projects.

Placement support

Interview prep and introductions to hiring laboratories.

Fields

Six fields shaping health science next

Health care is moving from treating disease late to reading biology early. These are the areas hiring hardest, and each one maps to a degree you can start after 12th.

Reproductive science

Fertility care is one of the fastest growing clinical sectors in India, and every cycle needs a trained embryologist in the lab.

Regenerative medicine

Repairing tissue instead of replacing it. Cell therapy labs and biobanks are building teams for exactly this work.

Precision nutrition

Diet advice matched to a person's genes rather than a generic chart. India's first academic programme in this field runs here.

Molecular diagnostics

Finding disease at the molecular level, years before symptoms. Diagnostic labs across the country are scaling these teams.

Cancer research

Tumour biology and targeted therapy research, working alongside oncology groups, pharma R&D and diagnostic laboratories.

Neuro and bioengineering

The brain, and the engineering of tissue itself. Two routes for students who want research or an engineering degree.

Our Programs

Seven specialisations, one clear ladder

Every programme is delivered by ITHS in collaboration with a partner university and taught inside working laboratories. Campus availability is listed on each card.

BSc • MSc • PG Diploma

Nutrigenetics & Personalised Nutrition

India's first nutrigenetics academic programme, run with INNR. Learn how genes shape diet response and build personalised nutrition plans.

BSc • MSc • PhD • PG Diploma

ART & Clinical Embryology

Become the embryologist an IVF clinic depends on. You train in gamete handling, embryo culture, andrology and cryopreservation, then step into a fertility laboratory. It is the one specialisation taught at every ITHS campus, so you can choose the city that suits you.

BSc • MSc • PhD

Stem Cell & Regenerative Medicine

Culture and characterise stem cells for therapy research. Work takes you into cell therapy labs, biobanks and research institutes.

BSc • MSc • PhD

Cancer Biology

Study tumour biology and molecular diagnostics, then move into oncology research groups, diagnostic labs or pharmaceutical R&D.

B.Tech • No JEE

B.Tech Stem Cell & Tissue Engineering

The engineering route into biotechnology. Direct admission after 12th with PCB and Mathematics, with no NEET and no JEE.

BSc • MSc • New for 2026

Molecular Medicine

Study disease at the molecular level and move into genetic diagnostics, translational research and clinical laboratories.

MSc • New for 2026

Neuroscience

Research the brain and nervous system, with pathways into neuro research labs, biotech and higher study abroad.

Free counselling

Still deciding? Talk it through with a counsellor.

Send your 12th stream, marks and preferred city. We will tell you which programmes you are eligible for, what each one leads to, and what it costs. No pressure to apply on the call.

What the call covers

Campuses

Four campuses, one academic standard

Shimla

ITHS programmes at Bahra University, Himachal Pradesh.

Hoshiarpur

ITHS programmes at Rayat Bahra Professional University.

Bhopal

ITHS programmes at Scope Global Skills University.

Scholarship

Merit support for 2026 entry

Applicability depends on your programme and campus. Confirm your eligibility with the admissions team before you apply.

MERIT 2026

ITHS merit scholarship

Awards of up to

₹1 Lakh

Awarded on 12th board performance in PCB and adjusted against your fee at the time of seat confirmation.

Precision nutrition

Your board percentage in PCB decides which merit band you fall into. No separate scholarship exam.

Counsellor confirms your band

Eligibility is checked against the programme and campus you have chosen, since availability differs across the four.

Adjusted against your fee

The award is applied directly to your fee at seat confirmation, so there is no waiting for a reimbursement.

Full fee structure on request

A counsellor shares the complete breakdown and instalment options on the call, before you commit to anything.

Campus life

Three years you will actually remember

Hostels, libraries, labs, societies and convocation. Life outside the laboratory is part of the programme.

Campus visit

Campus visit See the laboratory before you choose the degree.

Bring your parents, walk through the labs and hostel, and meet the faculty who will guide your project. Visits run on working days at all four campuses.

Leadership

Who you will learn from

Your project guidance comes from researchers who are actively publishing and filing patents.

Founder and Director

Ms. Jyoti Garhewal

Ph.D. Nutrigenetics

Holds more than 8 patents and leads the nutrigenetics research programme delivered in partnership with INNR.

Director

Prof. Pulakes Purkait

Ph.D. Medical Genetics

Holds more than 15 patents and has published over 30 research papers across medical genetics and translational health sciences.

Admissions

Before you apply

Do I need NEET to join these programmes?

No. Admission is based on your 12th results with PCB. NEET is not required for ITHS programmes.

What job can I get after Clinical Embryology?

Graduates typically work as embryologists or andrologists in IVF and fertility clinics, and in reproductive research laboratories. The role you start in depends on your level of study and laboratory experience.

Can I do B.Tech Stem Cell without JEE?

Yes. B.Tech Stem Cell and Tissue Engineering takes direct admission after 12th with PCB and Mathematics. Neither NEET nor JEE is required.

Which campus should I choose?

Chandigarh offers the widest range of programmes including Ph.D. Hoshiarpur, Shimla and Bhopal run embryology and stem cell programmes. A counsellor can help you compare fees, hostel and course availability.

Is hostel accommodation available?

Yes. Hostel accommodation is available on the partner university campus. Availability and charges differ by campus, so confirm at the counselling stage.

Can I continue to M.Sc. or Ph.D. after B.Sc. here?

Yes. ITHS runs the full ladder from B.Sc. to Ph.D., so you can continue in the same specialisation without moving to another institute.
